Frank Lagarde is a family man.
With over 40 years of experience, Frank loves helping clients because he knows that family is more important than anything and his commitment to his clients is paramount in his firm.

The oldest of 9 children, Frank had plans to follow in his father’s footsteps to become an Accountant/Financial Analyst.
But his interests in economics and finance took a different route, and after graduating from the Loyola University of New Orleans, he attended Loyola’s College of Law, as well.
After obtaining his J.D. in 1973, Frank accepted a position at a small litigation-based law firm in downtown New Orleans. Only two days after being sworn in and admitted to the Louisiana Bar, he litigated his first jury trial.
Despite never having tried a case in court before, Frank won.
Over the next five years, Frank got so much legal experience that when he opened his own firm, within 6 months, dozens of previous clients came over to work with him.
Then in 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit.
Frank had dealt with succession cases before the storm. But after Hurricane Katrina, the Road Home rebuilding program led to money coming in; heirs began coming out of the woodwork, and Frank’s firm was busy with succession case after succession case.
Now, he loves the satisfaction of getting clients back on track after being swindled by their previous attorney. He loves helping a client win back money stolen by jealous family members.
More than anything, he loves being able to take the burden from families, doing whatever he can to help families through the loss of their loved one and the organization of their affairs.
For Frank, his job is not about the money — it’s all about family.
Frank and his wife, Suzanne, have 5 children and are loving grandparents to 18 grandchildren.
In his spare time, Frank builds Lafitte skiffs and loves to go fishing in the marshes — especially with the family. When his children were young, Frank would take them out on a larger boat to go shrimping on the weekends, letting them use the money to save up for a family vacation or the latest toy they wanted to buy.
Every summer, Frank and Suzanne also rent a large camp for the family to spend time together, with the children coming and going as their schedules allow.
Some of his clients have been with him since 1978 and that’s because Frank takes the time to help clients take the insurmountable obstacle of successions, break it down into tiny little understandable pieces, and move their family forward.
